THE FINEST KNOWN PAUL REVERE SWORD-IN-HAND FOR THE FRIEDBERG NUMBER

Qty
This is arguably the most desirable colonial note and the nicest Sword-in-Hand note we have handled in the last 15 years and most likely the nicest ever! What makes this example so incredibly exceptional is the dark print of the revolutionary soldier on the reverse. Keep in mind, most Sword-in-Hand notes are “rough” and exhibit signs of heavy circulation. This note is the exception and has qualities that make it appear much younger than its actual age. Keep in mind, this note is nearly 250 years old! The fact that this note still exists is one thing but in this condition is a small miracle in-and-of itself. And the best part is…this note represents tremendous value. One would think that the FINEST KNOWN note inspired and engraved by Paul Revere, the most important revolutionary and patriot in the history of the United States would be in the six figure range. Today, this note can be had for a fraction of its true value. Do not delay for I do not expect to keep this note for long. #94 in the “100 Greatest American Currency Notes”
